My name is Alexandra Matuschek. I was born in the South of Germany, next to beautiful Lake Constance. After way rounds in my home country and the U.S.A. I settled in my city of choice - Munich.
I live and eat organic and like to save the environment through short transportation routes. Therefore I buy food from the wholefood shop and eat only few meat and if I do so, it's the best from the organic farmer in the near. The same I would love to do in other fields in my life. And that led me to the characteristics of the AMA bag:
I obtain the leather from the leather producer Ecopell, located in the Allgäu, a pittoresque landscape in the South of Germany. He only takes it's leather from the cows from organic farmers.
Your personal bag is produced from delicate calf leather that in the opposite to the traditional chrome tanning is only tanned with herbals. It is certified with the ECARF quality seal of the European foundation of allergy research.
Ecopell leather is dyed with synthetic and natural colours and without the usage of heavy metal.
Worth emphasizing is the pleasant surface, that is breathable and skin tolerant due to the multitude of fine pores. In total comparison to the plastic sealed, after-pressed leather, that is often used in the luxury segment, your AMA unique copy keeps it's natural characteristics.
The bag is sewed in the near - in the South of Munich by a small manufactory that is still in the possession of the bag-maker skills.
Each AMA bag is therefore unique, 100% organic and 100% made in Germany!
Features
As I mentioned in the beginning I wanted to have a super extraordinary bag, feminine looking, meeting the highest convenient standards a woman has. She should comprise everything I always thought of 'that'll be it'. Do you know that? Ok here she is:

You see the bag everywhere on the AMA homepage, she is my first model.
After years of fiddling, sketching, numerous prototypes as well as practical load tests I am proud to present you AMA 'Greta'.
APPEARANCE
First let the optic sink in. Yes, the shape is designed to meet the business requirements of carrying a lot of stuff, primarily our permanent professional companion - our laptop as well as our so beloved DIN A4 papers. But please have a closer look: isn't the AMA bag 'Greta' an eye candy? You decide what lovely color is your favorite one: e.g. pink, petrol, brown, white, grey and of course black, everyone is possible with AMA.
Furthermore do you see the elegant and extraordinary handles? And the stylish rivets plus the striking AMA logo with recognition value? And of course the super smooth organic leather that a woman would like to touch and smell the rest of her life...
INSIDE
When you have a look in the inside of the bag, you will instantly recognize how thought-out the bag-system is: you'll find three lockable zipper side pockets that are from the size optimal for e.g. the cell-phone, keys, mask, disinfection spray and a big purse.
Furthermore there is a strap in between, suitable for a pen, lipstick or the pepper spray.
Everything for sure optical attractive with fine black fabric and topstitched with the outer leather.
A further highlight is the zipper at the top of one side that opens another bag with a smooth cloth so that you can stow perfectly wonderful and quickly your DIN A4 documents.
Handle
Do you notice something? Yes, there are small classy snap hooks at the four ends. You know, from time to time I schlep way too much things with me, tons of papers and my bag gets so unbearable heavy that I don't want to carry her anymore over the shoulder. With the AMA bag you just shorten the handles by clipping the snap hooks in one of the lower chain links, as it suits you best, maybe at the lowermost and thus getting short handles:

I don't leave you out in the rain
And again I am like "do you know that"...You go out of the house and when does it rain? Exactly - at the time you're not in the possession of an umbrella. And why don't you carry an umbrella? Because the bag is too little or the bag is too heavy then. And if you did think about one - where to put it when it's wet? You know what? Exactly - in your AMA bag ;)
EACH AMA bag has the optimum compartment and the right umbrella for it:
outside there is a side side pocket that is only designed for this case. It is equipped with a water-repellent fabric and the umbrella that comes with AMA is a special making of the Doppler high quality umbrellas - very light and flat.
So that in future you can move around in the rain in a stylish way.

From the beginning I wanted a bag with inside lights. Most bags are missing an inner life - therefore they look like my daughter's room in a little while and I don't find a thing anymore.
